Is it… Perfect?
To say the latest Dragon Ball game is popular would be a severe understatement. Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero absolutely exploded onto the scene last week, and it’s been racking up massive player counts ever since.
Fuelled by nostalgia for the old Budokai Tenkaichi games, Dragon Ball fans seem to be loving every minute of this arena fighter (besides Great Ape Vegeta, obviously). And of course, it helps that the game’s just really good fun, backed by some amazing anime-infused visuals.
We gave the title a ‘great’ 8/10 in our Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero PS5 review. “Boasting a colossal character roster and some of the best anime-based visuals in gaming, Sparking! Zero is an absolute blast,” is what we wrote.
