Toyota's global production fell for the 10th consecutive month in November, down 6.2% from last year. U.S. output dropped 11.8%, but resumed Grand Highlander and Lexus TX SUV production. 
 
China production fell 1.6%, better than the previous month's 9% decline. Toyota plans to build an independent plant in Shanghai for Lexus electric cars by 2027.
Japan production fell 9.3% due to a two-day halt. Despite production drops, worldwide sales rose 1.7% in November, setting a new record.
