Bluesky users on Android can now enjoy a more Instagram-like experience with the launch of Pinksky, a photo-centric social app built on Bluesky’s AT Protocol. Previously available on iOS, Pinksky offers user profiles, photo feeds, video posts (up to 1 minute), and 24-hour stories.
Developer Ramon Souza designed Pinksky for users who prioritize connections over viral content, distinguishing it from Instagram’s reels-heavy approach. Since it’s built on Bluesky, users’ existing social networks sync automatically.
While still an experiment, Pinksky’s future could include integrations with Mastodon, Pixelfed, or Nostr, potentially introducing premium features.
