Zero Zero Robotics has unveiled the V-Copter Falcon Mini, a lightweight bi-copter drone weighing under 250 grams, designed for fast acceleration and agile performance. Its compact size helps it bypass many regulations applied to heavier drones, making it ideal for beginners and enthusiasts.
Unlike traditional quadcopters, the Falcon Mini uses a unique V-shaped design with two propellers that tilt for smooth airflow, allowing sharp turns and precise maneuvers. It features a 4K camera with three-axis stabilization for steady footage, servo motors built from high-strength alloy steel, and a flight time of up to 34 minutes.
The Falcon Mini builds on the 2020 V-Copter Falcon's technology but offers more flexibility by staying under the 250g limit. It also introduces a Reverse Flight Kit for advanced moves like upside-down flying.
Co-founded by Stanford Ph.Ds MQ Wang and Tony Zhang, Zero Zero Robotics aims to push drone innovation further. While pricing and availability remain undisclosed, the Falcon Mini promises powerful performance in a sleek, compact frame, potentially challenging established players like DJI.
