Chinese carmaker XPENG has revealed its upgraded humanoid robot, Iron.
Iron stands 5'8" tall, weighs 154 pounds (70 kg), and has a human-like design with 60 joints and 22 degrees of freedom in its hands, allowing for precise movement and object handling.
Iron runs on XPENG’s Turing AI chip and Tianji AIOS system, giving it powerful 3,000 TOPS processing. Its AI helps it walk smoothly and move naturally.
The robot’s “Eagle Eye” camera system, also used in XPENG’s self-driving cars, gives it 720° vision for strong awareness and smart decisions.
XPENG says Iron blends robotics, AI, and automotive tech in one intelligent, mobile humanoid.
